This statement is made by Trash-T LTD pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps we have taken, and will continue to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.
Commitment
Trash-T LTD is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We recognise our responsibility to help prevent modern slavery and human trafficking and to uphold human rights within our organisation and throughout our supply chain.
Our Business
Trash-T LTD provides licensed waste removal, house clearance, and related services in the UK. Our business is relatively small, and our operations and supply chains are straightforward, but we remain committed to ensuring there is no place for modern slavery in any part of our business activities.
Policies and Practices
To support this commitment, we have in place:
Employment checks – verifying the identity and right to work of all staff.
Fair treatment policies – ensuring all employees and contractors work in safe conditions and are paid fairly.
Whistleblowing policy – providing staff with a clear route to raise concerns without fear of reprisal.
Supplier checks – working only with reputable partners and disposal facilities that comply with UK laws and environmental standards.
Training and Awareness
We raise awareness of the risks of modern slavery with our team through training and open discussion. Staff are encouraged to identify and report any concerns regarding unethical practices.
Supply Chains
Our supply chain is primarily UK-based and includes:
Licensed recycling and waste disposal facilities.
Approved subcontractors for specific clearance services.
Providers of uniforms, equipment, and fuel.
We expect all suppliers to share our commitment to preventing modern slavery and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Ongoing Steps
We are committed to continuous improvement and will:
Monitor our supply chain and review supplier compliance.
Update our policies and practices annually.
Continue to raise awareness of modern slavery issues within our workforce and suppliers.
